Ryan Ritchie

Masters Head Coach

Ryan started skiing at age 2 and raced with the Bear Valley Race Team through high school. While attending UC Davis, he led the Ski Team to USCSA Nationals three years in a row, and even met his future wife there, who was also a ski racer. After earning a degree in Biomechanics, he stayed on as an Assistant Coach while beginning his studies in Physical Therapy.

His PT career took him to Europe as the physio for the U.S. Men’s Downhill Team, which temporarily put his own racing on hold. Later, he returned to coaching, focusing on his daughters’ ski racing and now leading the DPSEF Masters team.

In the off-season, Ryan and his family enjoy mountain biking, backpacking, and wake surfing, sharing a love for the outdoors year-round.
