Masters
November 18th, 2006 by adminThe focus of the Masters Program is to provide adult intermediate and expert skiers training in technical skills, varied snow conditions, terrain, and gate training. The program offers timed runs, video analysis, and the opportunity to simply enjoy a great time skiing. Wednesdays are set aside for technical free skiing practice including drills, drills and more drills. On Thursdays and Fridays we will be alternating between, easy, introductory drill courses and harder Masters courses. Slalom or giant slalom blocks of training will be based on Masters race schedules.
Training runs early January to late March
LEARN TO RACE
Individuals who have advanced basic skiing skills or a burning desire to obtain a higher, more confident level of skiing will find the Masters Program fun and challenging. We will teach alpine ski racing skills, free skiing drills, introductory slalom and giant slalom gate running drills and racecourses.
ADVANCED RACING
On alternating Thursdays or Fridays we will be setting high level Masters courses for those racers who are interested in improving their ski racing technique.
